Donald Thomson- President

Entering 5th season with the Bucks in 2011-12.

Bio: Donald Thomson rejoined the Laredo Bucks staff during the 2008-2009 season after gaining valuable experience with Learfield Sports and Texas A&M Sports Properties. He is a proud 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he also received his master’s degree in Sports Management.

During the 2009-10 season the ticket sales staff was nominated for the CHL Group Sales Franchise of the Year, while Donald was also nominated for the CHL Corporate Partnership Executive of the Year.

Originally from Houston, Thomson helped the Laredo Bucks earn the Corporate Partnership Franchise of the Year Award after the 2007-2008 season. His focus now turns to increasing season ticket sales, group ticket sales, and walk-up ticket sales, while also leading the Corporate Partnership department.

On June 7th, 2011, Thomson was named President of the Laredo Bucks.

Thomson’s hobbies include golf, Texas A&M Athletics, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing on the weekends.

Past work experiences include the Houston Astros and Texas A&M Athletics where Thomson was involved in corporate sponsorship sales and marketing.
