LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Thursday that they have signed Todd Griffith for the 2011-2012 season.

LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Thursday that they have signed Todd Griffith for the 2011-2012 season. 
 
Todd Griffith is 26 years old from Welland, Ontario. Last season Griffith split time between the Texas Brahmas and the Missouri Mavericks (CHL).
 
The 5’11”, 181 pound left wing appeared in 40 regular season games last season.  He scored 19 goals and had 17 assists.  Griffith also appeared in 7 playoff games with the Mavericks, where he had 4 assists. 
 
Todd was a member of the 2005-2006 Laredo Bucks President Cup Championship team.   He joined the team as an amateur in the post season, where he appeared in 7 games scoring 2 goals and 1 assist. He was also on the Bucks roster during the 2009-2010 campaign.  He appeared 33 regular season games, where he scored 12 goals and 14 assists.  He also appeared in 7 playoff games, scoring 6 goals and had 3 assists.
 
“I’m very happy to be coming back to the city and the people of Laredo. I am happy to be a part of what we are trying to do here with the Bucks- and that is to bring the Cup back to the city and the fans,” says Todd Griffith.  “I love the game, but I love winning even more and that is what we are going to do.”
 
“Todd is a big signing for us.  He brings experience and scoring to our line-up.  He is a very talented player that will help lead the way for the Bucks this season,” stated Head Coach Serge Dube.  “I enjoyed playing with Todd and look for to working with him again.” 
 
The Laredo Bucks now have 19 players, with the addition of Todd Griffith, signed for the 2011-2012 season.
